Five Gaits Icelandic horses  and standard poodles mission is to provide beautiful, healthy and conformationally correct Standard Poodles and Icelandic horses.      Five Gaits standard poodles are fully genetically tested and their results are registered on OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) before they are bred.  We meet and exceed the recommended testing by our parent  club (PCA) as evidenced by our registered results.   We offer a full genetic guarantee on our get and strive to do our best for  sound health, temperament and beauty.  All of our offspring are temperament tested utilizing the Volhard method prior to placement in their forever homes.

Nutrition is very important and information will provided upon the purchase of a puppy.

Five Gaits is a very small breeder, only breeding our females once every two years and retiring them at six.  I do not do crossbreeding of either dogs or horses.    Our puppies are placed as companions which means they are on a spay/neuter contract and can not be bred.  We may have a performance prospect or two and will offer them under contract by private treaty.
